Position Description: Provide subject matter expertise for the sustainment of TEWLS software and hardware platforms.
Perform hardware/software setup activities, upgrades, tuning, and sizing of servers’ tasks.
Provide server administration, backup/restore, and recovery services.
Troubleshoot, isolate and resolve server problems. .
Install, document and maintain new versions of server software, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), patches, etc.
Analyze hardware and software reliability reports to identify problems.
Maintain the centralized hardware, networks, operating systems, databases, and the Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software landscape, and the associated technical and security documentation.
Provide Windows and HP-UX support
Install SAP component software such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Solution Manager
Provide Windows installation and configuration management services.
Maintain high availability solution components.
Required Skills: 3 years experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003/2008.
A Baseline Certification, such as CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification, or equivalent.
Tree or more years of demonstrated experience with TEWLS and/or other SAP implementations .

Monitor the SAP R/3 system to ensure peak performance and availability for transaction processing
Job No: 5003 SAP Systems Administrator -SAP BASIS -San Antonio, TX
Position Description:Responsible for the following tasks within the TEWLS server environment:
- Use technical working knowledge and skills in SAP/R3, IBM MQ Series, XI, BIP, and ABAP to monitor, make changes, and resolve problems in the TEWLS.
- Monitor the SAP R/3 system to ensure peak performance and availability for transaction processing
- Provide database and security assistance, and transport objects (programs, customizations, and configurations) from one platform to another for change control, source control, and promoting objects to production
- Install, configure, and monitor messaging software that allows data to be transferred between the R/3 system and legacy systems
- Perform system recovery and restore tasks for the TEWLS, to recover and restore them to their most recent operational state in the event of a disaster or data loss.
Schedule and ensure password changes occur every 60 days
- Check daily logs in all SAP systems for Oracle database growth, programming failure dumps and/or failed batch jobs
Required Skills:The System Administrator must have CompTIA Security+
-Requires Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist as a minimum. MSCITP preferred.
-Three or more years of demonstrated experience with TEWLS and/or SAP implementations
-SAP Basis experience including SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), Exchange Information (XI), ABAP language, MQ Series, SAP transaction codes, SmartBatch scheduler, and Solution Manager, preferably running on an Itanium Architecture (IA) 64 platform. Understanding of the DoD/Army IAVA process as it pertains to Enterprise SAP Applications.
